On May 20, 2026, Walailak University Hospital conducted its first Business Continuity Plan (BCP) simulation. The drill was collaboratively executed by the Working Committee on Information Security Management (HAIT Category 3), the Information Technology Department, and relevant departments.
The primary objective of this exercise was to validate the readiness of the continuity plan and evaluate its operational efficiency in real-world scenarios. The initiative aims to ensure the hospital’s resilience against emergencies or disasters that could disrupt medical services and healthcare information systems, thereby mitigating potential risks and damages to patients, personnel, and the organization.
