16 January 2026 — Walailak University Hospital warmly welcomed a team of lecturers and students from the University of San Carlos (USC), Philippines, together with lecturers from the School of Pharmacy, Walailak University, for a study visit at the Department of Pharmacy, Walailak University Hospital. The visit was part of the WU–USC Exchange Programme 2026.
The purpose of the visit was to exchange knowledge and experience in hospital pharmacy practice. During the site visit, the visitors learned about Walailak University Hospital’s comprehensive medication management system, covering outpatient (OPD) and inpatient (IPD) pharmacy services, the production pharmacy, and medicine inventory management.
This visit provided students with valuable experience to real-world hospital pharmacy practice, helping them gain practical knowledge and skills while strengthening academic and professional collaboration between institutions within the ASEAN region.
