Today (December 12, 2025), a team of medical personnel from Walailak University Medical Center, led by Associate Professor Dr. Urai Jareprapal, Vice President of Walailak University overseeing the Medical Center, joined the Princess Mother’s Medical Volunteer (PMMV) mobile unit of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The mission was conducted in collaboration with the Lan Saka District Public Health Office and Lan Saka Hospital at Wat Kiri Kan School, Lan Saka District, Nakhon Si Thammarat.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Mr. Witthaya Kiaorod, Vice Governor of Nakhon Si Thammarat Province. The event was attended by PMMV volunteers, hospital staff, government officials, village headmen, public health volunteers, and local residents.
The mobile unit provided a wide range of services, including:
- General Medical Check-ups
- Eye Screenings
- Thai and Chinese Traditional Medicine Services
- Dental Services
- Health Consultations
These services were provided free of charge and received significant interest from a large number of citizens. The PMMV mobile medical unit plays a vital role in increasing opportunities for people in various areas to access medical services conveniently and thoroughly.
