On 15 August 2025, Walailak University Hospital organized the annual fire extinguishing and evacuation rehearsal, led by the Division of Social Medicine together with the hospital’s safety committee, network partners, and outside organizations.
The program was conducted under the command of Dr. Kitti Rattanasombat, Acting Director of Walailak University Hospital, and Mr. Prasong Janyu, Sheriff of Thasala District, with the goal of strengthening readiness following national Fire Safety Regulations. The training focused on providing staff with the skills and confidence to respond effectively in emergency situations, protecting both lives and property.
This annual rehearsal reflects Walailak University Hospital’s commitment to safety and preparedness. By practicing emergency response together with partner organizations, hospital staff enhance their ability to act quickly and efficiently—ensuring that both employees and patients are always safe and cared for.
