June 20, 2025 – Walailak University Hospital has taken important steps to strengthen its information technology systems by participating in a cybersecurity readiness assessment conducted by the Cybersecurity Audit Committee of Walailak University.
The assessment took place at Meeting Room 3 of the Chulabhornawetchawat Building and was attended by key representatives, including Asst. Prof. Nichnan Kittiphattanabawon, Ph.D., Assistant to the President of Walailak University and the supervisor of the IT division of the hospital; Dr. Siriporn Kowiwattanakarn, Deputy Director of Walailak University Hospital; and Thitichai Boonrung, Deputy Director of General Administration.
The main goal of the cybersecurity assessment is to examine the hospital’s IT system for possible weaknesses, assess potential risks, and ensure it is well-prepared to handle cyber threats. This initiative is part of the hospital’s commitment to improving the safety and reliability of its digital services for both patients and staff.
