A Major Milestone Toward Becoming a Leading Advanced Tertiary Care Hospital
Walailak University Hospital proudly announces its successful achievement of Level 3 Healthcare Accreditation from the Healthcare Accreditation Institute (HAI), following an official survey conducted on May 19–20, 2025. This accomplishment marks a significant milestone in the hospital’s ongoing journey toward excellence in healthcare service delivery.
The accreditation survey was conducted by a distinguished team of HAI surveyors, led by Assoc.Prof.Thavat Chanchayanon, MD. The team also included Asst.Prof.Pathomthat Phanthumkomol, MD; Sirirat Netprapha, Ph.D.; Ms.Tusnee Sumamal; Ms.Wilasinee Kueankaew; and Ms.Jaksana Panyacheewin. Together, they carried out a comprehensive evaluation of the hospital’s key departments, assessing operational efficiency, staff performance, and the overall quality of medical services.
This achievement aligns with Walailak University Hospital’s long-term vision to become a leading advanced tertiary care hospital and a regional learning center for both the public and medical professionals across seven provinces in the upper southern region. The hospital is committed to ensuring widespread access to high-quality healthcare for all.
