Walailak University Hospital is taking significant steps to modernize services through the development of a comprehensive Information Technology (IT) Master Plan. This initiative aims to leverage technology to improve hospital management, reduce errors, and simplify processes for both staff and patients.
To kick off this crucial project, the hospital hosted a collaborative workshop that brought together approximately 30 IT professionals. The session, held in the Hua Taphan Conference Room of the Chulabhornawetchawat building, provided a platform for attendees to contribute their insights and ideas for the IT Master Plan.
Asst. Prof. Nichnan Kittiphattanabawon, Ph.D., Assistant to the President of Walailak University and the supervisor of the IT department of the hospital, served as the esteemed speaker and moderator for the workshop. The primary focus of the morning and afternoon brainstorm sessions was to encourage open discussion and gather diverse perspectives on how to best shape the hospital’s future IT strategy.
