Walailak University Hospital won second prize for a research poster presentation titled “Development of a Nursing Model for Mechanically Ventilated Patients in the Intensive Care Unit”. The presentation was part of the 17th National Academic Conference for Academic Support Personnel in Higher Education Institutions, themed “Thongkwao Academic 68: Promoting Research, Enhancing Work, and Advancing Organizations”, held from March 30 to April 1, 2025. The research was led by Nurse Pariyaporn Boonruang and her team.
Additionally, the hospital presented another research project titled “Development of a Continuous Diabetes Care Monitoring System Using the DM WUH Care Web Application”. This project is part of the hospital’s initiative to enhance advanced tertiary care services and drive its mission to become a leading medical school in the upper southern region of Thailand through research-based development.
