This minimally invasive technique allows surgeons to remove tumors through the nasal cavity\u2014without the need to open the skull\u2014leading to faster recovery and fewer complications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The case involved a 49-year-old male patient who was admitted to Walailak University Hospital with symptoms of narrowed vision and tonic-clonic seizures. An MRI scan revealed a pituitary tumor pressing against the optic nerve, which was the cause of his condition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The surgery was performed by <strong>Dr<\/strong><strong>. Sasikan Sukhor, neurosurgeon at Walailak University Hospital, in collaboration with Dr<\/strong><strong>. Raywat Noiphithak, neurosurgery instructor from<\/strong><strong> Thammasat University Hospital<\/strong><strong>.<\/strong> By using the transnasal approach, the medical team was able to successfully remove the tumor with several key benefits:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Quicker recovery time<\/strong> for the patient<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lower risks of complications<\/strong>, especially for the optic nerve and pituitary gland<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Improved vision<\/strong> after the procedure<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Reduced chance of recurrence<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This achievement marks an important milestone in advanced neurosurgical care at Walailak University Hospital, bringing new
