Walailak University Hospital has successfully treated a patient who suffered severe head trauma in a car accident. A team of skilled neurosurgeons, led by Dr.Sasikan Sukhor and Dr.Komcharn Prompalad, performed a complex procedure involving the removal of blood clots from the brain and a surgical procedure to relieve pressure by temporarily removing a portion of the skull bone (decompressive craniectomy with clot removal). The surgery involved the utilization of a titanium plate to reconstruct the patient’s skull. This advanced technique facilitates optimal healing and recovery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
