The patient, who had been bedridden for a long time, developed a severe infection and abscess due to prolonged pressure on the area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The surgical team employed advanced techniques to manage the wound, including the removal of infected tissue, excision of the damaged tailbone, and muscle repositioning. To close the wound, the surgeons utilized surrounding tissues in a repair procedure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The patient\u2019s condition is improving rapidly, with the wound expected to fully heal within two weeks after the removal of stitches.
