Orthopedic surgeons of Walailak University Hospital have successfully treated patients with spine issues using a new surgery technique called “Percutaneous Transforaminal Lumbar Interbody Fusion”, commonly known as “Percutaneous TLIF”. This surgical method involves removing an intervertebral disc between two vertebrae and fusing them through a small keyhole incision in the back. This accomplishment represents significant progress for the Center of Excellence for Orthopedic Surgery.
